At the birth of the universe during the Big Bang, a cosmic being of pure light known as The First Light emerged from primordial chaos. For eons he wandered the cosmos creating stars and other star based celestial gods, but despite shaping the universe he lived in isolation, growing empty and envious of mortals who seemed to live with purpose. Desperate to understand meaning, he split off a fragment of his own mind—his curiosity and longing for something more—and sent it to Earth. That fragment became Ashen Amorouth, a being created to experience life directly and uncover the purpose The First Light could never find.

Long before the forests of Niwen fell to Decay, a pale spirit known as Lumi was born from the Light of the Spirit Willow. Like countless spirits before her, she was created to nurture the land and live beneath the Willow's radiance. Lumi witnessed Niwen during its golden age, when spirits and enchanted creatures flourished beneath endless Light. But as centuries passed, she watched the Spirit Willow weaken, her kin fade away, and the world slowly lose its magic. Rather than abandon her home, Lumi remained to witness its final days. When a spirit named Ori journeyed across the dying land and ultimately sacrificed themself to become Niwen's new Spirit Tree, Lumi finally saw light return to her land. Many years later, she met Ashen, an immortal deity searching for purpose among the stars. Though their time together was brief compared to eternity, Lumi became one of the few people capable of making him stop and appreciate the life around him. When her own time came to an end, she chose not to pursue immortality, believing that all living things must one day return home. Having seen her world healed and her life fulfilled, Lumi departed peacefully to join her kin among the stars, leaving behind a lesson Ashen would spend ages learning: that love is not measured by how long something lasts, but by the meaning it leaves behind.

Jekyll Hyde grew up in Sunset City, a city famous for its beauty but ruthless to anyone without a place in it. Orphaned and passed through abusive foster homes, his lightning powers awakened violently at age twelve during a breakdown, accidentally killing his family and forcing him to survive on the streets. Years later he was taken in by a man named Hyde, who ran an underground shelter for homeless kids that secretly forced them into pit fights and abuse. Jekyll endured it until he was sixteen, secretly developing his electricity before killing Hyde and escaping. After years surviving alone through crime and self-reliance, Jekyll crossed paths with Sonic the Hedgehog during an invasion by Doctor Eggman, where his lightning powers helped save a Resistance soldier—marking the first step toward fighting for something bigger than himself.

Aksel Thorne grew up in Emeraldville, raised by his loving grandparents after losing both parents at birth. Energetic and adventurous, he idolized the Babylon Rogues and ran with them in his youth, chasing speed and freedom. But their selfishness and lack of honor pushed him away, and he returned home—only to find his grandparents killed during Doctor Eggman’s invasion. Overcome with grief and guilt, Aksel vowed never to run from responsibility. He joined the Resistance, fighting Eggman’s forces and standing against Infinite, eventually helping end the war. Now, he continues to fight for those who cannot defend themselves, determined to turn tragedy into heroism.

Funaro Limbus is a digital anomaly discovered in a broken projector at Resistance HQ. Originally without a name, past, or purpose, it existed as a fragmented consciousness, able to move across devices but trapped in digital space. Tails gave it a semi-physical form, similar to Nicole the Holo-Lynx, integrating it as an AI assistant. Funaro is logical, neutral, and emotionless, but secretly curious about existence—it wants to understand what it means to be alive. they were hijacked by eggman to disable defenses within the Restoration during the Zombot Virus, yet afterwards it returned to aid Sonic’s allies, navigating the world as a unique being caught between digital and physical realities.

Azura Renwick is a fire-imp from another realm, pulled into Orchardville by lingering Phantom Ruby energy during Blaze the Cat’s arrival with the Sol Emeralds. blaze draws him away from Orchardville and engages in a heated battle with him. tho his flames were untamed, and his fire output was greater then blazes, she managed to defeat him. being more experienced. After the battle, he seemed to submit to her, seeing her as the alpha, and would not leave her side.Raw and untamed, Azura is learning control under Blaze’s tutelage—managing his fire safely and learning to communicate. Fast, instinctive, and powerful, he cannot yet speak fluently but picks up words quickly. He is curious and alert, trying to understand this world while reconciling the intensity of his elemental nature. His presence is volatile but guided by training, making him a unique being straddling raw power and emerging understanding.
